Prologue
When an angelic woman who looked as if she was made of light appeared to a man on his one-hundredth birthday, he was surprised by her question.
“Have you heard of a man who goes by the name MG?”
He looked as if she was joking; there were millions of people on Earth, and a million of them could have had the initials MG. When the angel told him that this man was important for the safety of humanity and the world, he wondered why she was talking to him. The angel said.
“In your life of solitude and wisdom, have you ever noticed the same face and the same initials in all your search for knowledge?” When she realised she sparked a schema, she smiled and gave him a task.
“Find this man and warn him.” she vanished.
As a boy, this old man recalled his grandfather telling him the stories his great, great grandfather told about a man who lived at the North Pole and came down once a year. The man never aged. He looked like a boxer who fought for gold back when the Olympics were a thing for unity and sportsmanship rather than glory and pride. When the man was a teenager, he started reading to see if there was any truth to this myth. When he was an adult, he took a vow of solitude when he discovered that his grandfather was on to something, that a family lived around the world and looked the same. There were statues taken by tourists and images of a face in the background of portraits. It wasn’t until the man was in his 80s that he saw the face appear again in the media. Yet he never believed the real truth until now.
After two and a bit years of connecting dots, this man, now one hundred and three, put together the truth, that there was something special about this man, and if the angel told him to warn him, he had to get a message to him. The old man wrote a letter after discovering where he lived and looked around his home of solitude and hoped that he would come in time. While searching for him, he discovered the reason the angel came. He saw what people were capable of, and if this man had some part in preventing it, he didn’t need an answer to a question he wanted to ask. The man that the angel wanted to warn needed to hear the truth from his own lips.
While this was all happening, a young woman with hair the colour of the night was in a kitchen of a small home. Washing up after feeding her husband and three children, she looked at her growing belly and sighed. She was miserable and felt trapped and helpless. She thought back several years when she first arrived on the island and saw the statue carved from solid rock. It was of a man holding a stick; apparently, that was the first person that showed kindness to the locals. He defended their ancestors, the first Leader of the Island. However, she didn’t see any kindness. She knew that soon she would have another child and hoped that all four of her children would grow up in a world full of kindness.
Meanwhile, a fair-haired young lady was coming up with a way of moving loads of books, magazines, comics and art such as paintings, drawings and photographs that she had collected over the decade. She moved into a large building that she designed and built to hold the books and writings on shelves and hang the paintings in a gallery. She had this ambition to learn about the past and teach it to others, and she started to dig into the past. This woman gathered enough information on the past, and she was fascinated by the stories of a family of fighters in the time of 800AD Rome. She was hooked by the family that travelled around a country and the story behind the painter that worked alongside one of the greatest. She only knew what she had written from her research and was intrigued by the one thing that kept popping up throughout history: the initials M G.
The angel appeared to the man one last time, and this time she looked quite pleased; she smiled and stood over his bed. She arrived minutes after he had fainted from an episode of the heart. The man heard something that shocked him and also that made total sense. She looked at the wise old man and spoke gently as if she was his mother.
“You got more than you expected, and now you have many questions. Let me tell you a story. You will not find these in the books you have read, and this story hasn’t finished yet.”
The man closed his eyes and listened to her talk, and this story was about the Legacy of the Immortal. She started from the very beginning with the Early Life of a Miracle Child.
